The Hip Hop is a unique chair for use at school or in the home. The chair can easily fit beneath a school desk or table surface. This unique design takes up little space in either the home or classroom. The Hip Hop is available in three sizes ensuring that the correct seat is selected for the child's size and body weight. The Hip Hop 300 is available with either electric height adjustment or Gas Strut operated height adjustment facility for ease of use.

VELA Hip Hop seat is divided into three zones, allowing individual adaptation and a choice between soft or hard padding on the seat. At the front, at the knees and along the thighbone, a soft foam cushion provides support and control as well as great comfort. Wedges in the seat create shape and support. The seat well, with its deep but supportive core, grips and holds the child's seat. Zip fastenings allow the cover to be easily removed to give access to the seat, so the accompanying wedges can be adapted to the needs of the child. With its revolutionary backrest, the Hip Hop's back is designed with an elastic mid-section and it's divided back is an entirely new way of designing backs. It gives unique support, as it moulds itself to the child's back. Through the zipper fastenings you can also add inserts of foam to change the shape of the back. In addition the back is mounted with Velcro, making it easily removable for cleaning.

The Hip Hop 100 & 300 series can be angled 10º forwards to help achieve an active sitting position. The seat can also be angled 8º backwards to allow for maximum comfort and adjustability. The Hip Hop 300 will extend in height from 28cm to 68cm and has a tilting facility of up to 24º, whilst the Hip Hop 100 will extend in height from 38cm to 48cm.

The Hip Hop's slim line base is narrow enough to fit effortlessly through the majority of doorways and is suitable for occupants with a weight limit of up to 60Kg.
