The Lightning is a lightweight, supportive, highly functional, adaptable pushchair, which comes complete with a wide range of accessories - there are no hidden extras. It is available in Blue Upholstery in either 11" (280mm) or 14" (356mm) or 16” (406mm) seat widths and as standard both models are supplied with 3" (75mm) of seat depth adjustability. An additional 3" (75mm) of seat depth can be obtained by using the optional seat extension kit. The back angle is adjustable with fixed positions at 85, 90 and 95 to enable appropriate positioning as desired.

With its quick easy folding action the Lightning is ideal for use on public transport and easy to store in vehicles as it is very compact once folded. The slim chassis with swivelling front castors makes this pushchair ideal for every day use and for those clients who have restrictive activity.

The independently fully adjustable, swing away, footrests provide multiple positions to ensure maximum comfort for the occupant. The height of the footrests can be easily adjusted between 25mm and 430mm in 25mm increments. The angle of the footrest can be independently altered. The flexibility that is offered with the footrests makes this pushchair suitable for clients who have a leg discrepancy.

The Lightning, when fitted with the set of 4 Tie Down Transportation brackets, has been successfully crash tested according to ISO 7176/19 and the requirements specified in 5.3 of section 19 of ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol.1 and therefore ensures safe transportation of the child in specially adapted vehicles. The Lightning is made from 7000 series aluminium which is so tough that it showed almost no distortion at the point of impact during the crash testing.
