The Snugseat postural control system is designed to enhance the sitting position of children with postural problems. It is the result of intensive research by biomedical and rehabilitation engineers and consultation with paediatric occupational therapists and parents.It is particularly beneficial to those children who require lateral trunk, pelvic, lumber and head support.

The Snugseat's modular design means it can be easily adapted, by making use of the extensive range of adjustable pads, to the growing child's changing dimensions and needs.

The Snugseat system is available in three sizes, ensuring that the correct seat is selected for the child's body weight and frame size. There is a wide range of accessories available for the Snugseat to help with those day-to-day requirements.

The Wheelbase is lightweight, but of rugged construction and is suitable for daily use. The wheelbase has two fixed wheels at the rear mounted on spring suspension and two front swivelling castor wheels for easy steering. To further enhance the comfort factor for the occupant the Spring suspension is available in 2 strengths, either hard for rough terrain or soft which is more suited for pavement use.

The seat itself is supported in a steel frame which can be used as a car seat or attached to its buggy as a pushchair. When used as a car safety seat, the seat section has been successfully impact tested at 30mph. A built in gas spring mechanism on the side of the seat allows for the angle of the seat (Tilt in Space) to be infinitely adjusted. The Seat can be detached from its buggy and placed on an indoor frame for ease of use around the home or school. It provides maximum stability even when in tilt and its lightweight frame and wheels means it can easily be manoeuvred from room to room.

The Snugseat is manufactured from high tensile steel for extra strength and durability. The complete pushchair (seat unit plus wheeled buggy base) has been successfully tested wheelchair standard ISO 7176/19 for impact resistance, ensuring safe transportation of the occupant in specially adapted vehicles.
